Safety Instructions

  • Explosive Gases: Working near lead-acid batteries is dangerous. Batteries generate explosive gases. Never smoke or allow sparks/flames near the battery.
  • Battery Connection: Connect the RED clip to the positive (+) terminal and the BLACK clip to a good ground source on the engine block. Never connect the black clip to the other battery terminal.
  • Operation Safety: Do not direct the air stream at people or animals. The inflator head gets hot during operation; do not touch it.
  • Overload Protection: The unit will automatically shut off on overload or excessive heat. If this occurs, turn the switch to OFF, allow it to cool for 20 minutes, reset the circuit breaker if necessary, and resume.

Operating Instructions

  1. Turn the Power Switch to the OFF position.
  2. Connect the Coiled Hose to the Inflator Hose by pulling back on the coupler collar, inserting the nozzle, and releasing the collar.
  3. Attach the other end of the Coiled Hose to the Air Hose.
  4. Turn on the car engine.
  5. Attach the clips to the 12V automotive battery.
  6. Turn the Inflator Switch to the ON position.
  7. Connect the nozzle to the valve stem of the item to be inflated.
  8. Monitor the pressure gauge carefully to avoid over-inflation.
  9. When finished, turn the switch to OFF, remove the nozzle, turn off the car engine, and remove the clips.

Maintenance

  • Before Each Use: Inspect for loose hardware, misalignment, cracked parts, or damaged wiring.
  • After Use: Allow the unit to cool, wipe external surfaces with a clean cloth, and store in a clean, dry location.
  • Filter Maintenance: After every 500 hours of regular use, remove the filter cover, wash the filter in warm water and liquid soap, rinse, let dry, and reinstall.
  • O-Rings: Replace O-rings after every 500 hours of use (qualified service technician only).

Troubleshooting

If the unit has decreased output, check for loose connections or a blocked air inlet filter. If there is no output, check the clip positions, ensure the switch is in the ON position, check for overheating, or reset the circuit breaker.
