The HiKOKI UB 18DB is a cordless LED work light designed for site illumination. It is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance. Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged using a compatible HiKOKI charger.
Description of the device
The work light features a battery level indicator, a switch for operation, an adjustment dial for brightness, an LED light, a handle, a hook for hanging, and a screw hole for tripod mounting (5/8-UNC).

Operation
Inserting and removing the battery: Slide the battery firmly into the tool until it clicks. To remove, pull it out while pressing the latch.




Turning the light on/off: Use the switch on the top of the unit. The light has an adjustable brightness range of 350–2000 lm.
Mounting: The light can be hung using the integrated hook or mounted on a standard tripod using the 5/8-UNC screw hole.
Safety warnings
- Do not use in explosive atmospheres or near flammable materials.
- Do not use in rain or wet conditions.
- Do not disassemble or modify the work light.
- Keep the light at least 20 cm away from the illuminated object.
- The LED cover remains hot during and immediately after use; do not touch.
- Use only designated HiKOKI rechargeable batteries.
Maintenance and inspection
Regularly inspect all mounting screws to ensure they are tight. Keep the battery terminals free of dust and debris to prevent short circuits. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth or a cloth moistened with soapy water. Do not use solvents like gasoline or paint thinner.
Storage
Store the work light and battery in a cool, dry place (below 40°C) out of reach of children. Ensure lithium-ion batteries are fully charged before long-term storage.
