Safety Warnings

General Power Tool Safety: Always keep the work area clean and well-lit. Use personal protective equipment, including eye protection. Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before connecting the battery. Cordless Multi Tool Safety: Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when cutting where the accessory may contact hidden wiring. Do not touch the application tool or metal surfaces immediately after use as they will be hot.

Battery Charging

Before using the tool, charge the battery. Connect the charger to a power source; the pilot lamp will blink in red. Insert the battery firmly into the charger. Charging will commence, and the pilot lamp will light continuously in red. When fully charged, the lamp will blink in red.

The tool features two modes:

  • Standard Mode: Adjust the dial from 1 to 5 to change the vibration frequency between 6000 and 20000 min-1.
  • AUTO Mode: The tool automatically adjusts the vibration frequency between 15000 min-1 and 20000 min-1 based on the workload to reduce noise and vibration.

Maintenance and Inspection

Regularly inspect the application tool for dullness or damage. Periodically check all mounting screws to ensure they are properly tightened. Keep the motor winding clean and free from oil or water. Store the tool in a place where the temperature is less than 40°C and out of reach of children.

Common problems

Motor stops during use

The battery may be empty (charge it immediately) or the tool may be overloaded (release the switch and remove the cause of the overload).

Pilot lamp does not blink red when charger is connected

The protection circuit may be activated. Unplug the charger, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect. If it still does not blink, contact an authorized HiKOKI service center.

Before use

  • Ensure the work area is clean and well-lit.
  • Wear eye protection.
  • Check for hidden electrical, water, or gas pipes in the cutting area.
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged.
  • Check that the application tool is securely attached.
