This charger is designed for HiKOKI BSL14, BSL18, and MV series batteries. Always charge in a well-ventilated area between 0°C and 40°C. The most suitable temperature for charging is 20–25°C.

  1. Connect the power cord to the charger AC inlet.
  2. Connect the power cord to the receptacle.
  3. Insert the battery firmly into the charger as shown in the diagram.
  4. The charging indicator will blink green during charging and light up continuously when complete.
  5. After charging, disconnect the power cord and remove the battery.

Battery charging indicator:

  • Blinking green: Charging
  • Lit up green: Charging complete

Warning indicator:

  • Blinking red: Charging impossible (malfunction in battery or charger)
  • Lit up red: Overheat standby (battery overheated, charging will commence when it cools)

Maintenance and inspection

  • Regularly inspect mounting screws and tighten if loose.
  • Clean the charger with a soft, dry cloth or a cloth moistened with soapy water. Do not use chloric solvents, gasoline, or paint thinner as they melt plastics.
  • Store in a dry, high, or locked place out of reach of children.
