This document provides installation and safety instructions for the Hoftronic 12V Non Dimmable LED Driver. The device is designed for indoor use. If installed outdoors, it must be placed in a water and moisture-resistant housing (Art. No. 396302 or 4409418). Always ensure the power is switched off before performing any installation or maintenance.

Installation

Installation should be performed by a qualified person. The device requires a 230V input. Wiring connections are as follows: N = blue cable and L = brown cable. Ensure proper mechanical fastening and connection to the electrical network before first use.

The manual provides two primary installation methods:

• Installation with Wall Switch: Connects the driver input to a wall switch for control.
• Installation with Power Cord: Connects the driver input directly to a power cord for fixed mains current.

Safety and Usage

Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, burns, electrical shock, or physical injury. Observe the following safety rules:

• Do not cover the product; ensure free air access.
• The product may heat up during operation.
• Do not use the product if the protective cover is damaged.
• Do not use in unfavourable conditions such as dust, water, moisture, vibrations, or explosive atmospheres.
• The product is non-demountable and not suitable for independent repairs.

Maintenance

Maintenance must be performed only when the power supply is cut off and the product has cooled down. Clean the device using only soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical detergents.

Environmental Protection

This product must be collected selectively as waste electronic and electrical equipment. Do not dispose of it with regular household waste. Return used items to a collection facility for waste electrical and electronic goods or to the seller when purchasing a new product of the same type.
