This document serves as a setup guide for the Holybro Kopis Freestyle 4-Inch FPV Quadcopter. It contains detailed wiring diagrams for the flight controller, ESC, video transmitters, and receivers, as well as specific configuration steps for using a Naked GoPro.
Specifications
The drone is built on a 3k carbon fiber frame with a 180mm wheelbase. It utilizes the Kakute F7 mini V3 flight controller and Tekko32 F3 4in1 35A ESC. The analog version includes a 5.8G Atlatl HV Micro VTx, while the HD version features the Caddx FPV Vista Kit.

Naked GoPro Setup
To use a Naked GoPro, connect it to the flight controller and enter the following commands in the Betaflight CLI:
- resource SERIAL_TX 4 NONE
- resource PINIO 1 A00
- set pinio_box = 40,255,255,255
- save
Additionally, configure a mode for USER1 in the Betaflight Modes tab and assign it to an AUX channel to control recording via a switch.

Common problems
6S LiPo usage
An external 1000uf 35v capacitor is required for 6S usage.
Naked GoPro not recording
Ensure Betaflight CLI commands are correctly applied and a mode is assigned to an AUX channel.
Before use
- Verify battery voltage (650-850mAh 4s recommended)
- Check all wiring connections against the provided diagrams
- Ensure flight controller firmware is configured correctly
- Activate Vista kit (HD version) using DJI Assistant 2
