The HP 10s II is a scientific calculator designed for arithmetic, statistical, and regression calculations. It features a two-line display and supports various mathematical modes. Ensure you are familiar with the key layout and display indicators before beginning calculations.
Basic calculations
The calculator supports standard arithmetic, fraction calculations, and percentage operations. To perform basic math, ensure the calculator is in the appropriate mode. Use the fraction key to input and convert between mixed and improper fractions. The replay function allows you to recall and edit previous calculations.
Memory calculations
You can store and recall values using the memory functions:
- M+: Adds the displayed value to memory.
- M-: Subtracts the displayed value from memory.
- MR: Recalls the value stored in memory.
- MC: Clears the memory.
Independent memory allows you to perform calculations and store results without affecting the main calculation flow.
Statistical and regression calculations
The calculator includes specific modes for statistical and regression analysis. Use the STAT and REG modes to input data sets. Ensure you follow the input procedures for data entry and clearing memory before starting a new statistical calculation to avoid errors.
Battery and safety
