This manual provides instructions for the assembly and operation of the Insignia 1100R and 1200R Premium Series shower cabins. Before beginning, ensure all parts are present and checked against the box contents list. Do not book tradespeople until all items have arrived and been inspected. The shower is designed to be free-standing and must not be fixed to walls or floors with rigid pipes.
Installation Steps
The installation process involves the following key stages:

- Tray and Waste: Level the tray and connect the waste using a 40mm compression joint fitting. Ensure the spigot is drilled out for steam versions.
- Framework: Assemble the framework using the provided securing clips.
- Sealing: Apply RubberGum to the tray's raised sections before fixing the framework.
- Panels and Column: Connect back panels and the column. Do not screw back panels directly to the tray.
- Glass and Roof: Install fixed glass panels, glass seals, and the roof.
- Doors and Accessories: Fit door wheels, handles, and accessories.
- Connections: Connect water valves, control panels, and the steam generator (if applicable).
Electrical and Water Requirements
Water: Recommended pressure is 2.5 to 3.4 BAR. Use flexible braided hoses; do not use rigid pipes or central heating plastic types. Always install isolation taps on hot and cold water supplies.
Electrical: Steam versions require 220-240V, 3KW. Non-steam versions require 100-240V, 12V DC/1500mA. All electrical work must be performed by a qualified professional and protected by an RCD.
Control Panel Operation
The control panel manages lights, steam, music, and Bluetooth. For steam versions, use the steam button to set time and temperature. For non-steam versions, the panel controls radio, Bluetooth, and lights. Always ensure the panel is unlocked (padlock button) to operate functions.
Safety and Maintenance
Never leave children unattended in the shower. The steam function is for adults only. Exit the steam room immediately if feeling dizzy or unwell. After use, turn off both power and water supplies. Ensure the room is well-ventilated after steam sessions.
