  1. Insert the power cord into the alarm clock.
  2. Remove the insulation tab from the CR2032 battery compartment located on the bottom of the clock.
  3. Download the La Crosse View app from the App Store or Google Play.
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the clock to your Wi-Fi network.

Projection Settings

The projection tube on the back allows for 270-degree rotation. Press the projection icon button to adjust intensity (HI-MED-LO-OFF). Press the PROJ INFO button to select what is projected: current time, indoor temperature/humidity, internet outdoor temperature, or extra sensor information.

Alarm and Nap Timer

To set an alarm, hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour and minutes, then set the snooze duration (up to 120 minutes). The alarm uses a crescendo sound and lasts for 2 minutes. The Nap Timer is set by holding the NAP button for 3 seconds; it defaults to 30 minutes and can be adjusted in 5-minute increments.

Backlight and Auto Dim

The backlight has 5 levels of brightness (OFF, 1.5%, 20%, 50%, 100%). To set the Auto Dim feature, hold the SNOOZE/LIGHT button for 2 seconds. Use the + or - buttons to turn the dimmer ON, then select the start and stop hours for the low-light period.

Press the SET button to view status messages:

  • ALL OK CONNECTED: Connected to the app.
  • CHECK APP: Check router connection, app notifications, or for updates.
  • LOST WIFI: Check power cord, ensure 2.4GHz network, or hold + and - buttons to search for Wi-Fi.
  • NO WEATHER SERVICE: Temporary server issue; wait for resolution.
