Quick guide from the manual
This document provides instructions for the AcuRite Outdoor Clock with Temperature and Humidity. For the most accurate temperature readings, ensure the clock is placed in a location not exposed to direct sunlight or other direct heat sources.
Getting started
To prepare the clock for use, follow these steps:

- Remove the weather-resistant cover: Pull off the cover on the back of the clock, being careful not to damage it.
- Install batteries: Insert 1 x AA alkaline or lithium battery into the compartment. Follow the polarity (+/-) diagram inside. Replace the cover and secure it using the screws.
- Set the time: Turn the set knob on the back of the clock in either direction to adjust the time.
Calibration
If the thermometer or hygrometer is reading incorrectly, the pointer may have moved during shipping. To calibrate:
- Compare the reading to a known accurate thermometer or hygrometer.
- Allow both devices to adjust to room temperature for at least three hours.
- If the reading remains inaccurate, adjust the pointer by turning the knob on the back of the unit in the appropriate direction.
Care and maintenance
- Use a soft cloth to clean the clock as needed.
- Do not use corrosive cleaners or chemicals.
- Always store the clock without a battery when not in use.
- Battery Safety: Clean battery contacts before installation. Remove batteries from equipment not used for an extended period. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types (alkaline/standard). Do not use rechargeable batteries.
