The Lauben Handheld Steam Iron 1950BC is designed for home use. Before first use, remove all packaging. Fill the water tank up to the MAX mark (170 ml). Plug the device into a power outlet; the LED will turn red while heating (approx. 20 seconds) and blue when ready. Hold the steam trigger to release steam, or lock it for continuous steam. The device features an 8-minute auto-off function for safety.

Instructions for Use

To use the steamer, fill the tank to the MAX mark and plug it in. Once the LED turns blue, it is ready. For vertical steaming, do not tilt the device more than 90° to prevent water leakage. Use the brush attachment for sturdier materials like coats to help steam penetrate deeper. For delicate fabrics with appliqués or sequins, keep a distance from the surface.

Dry Ironing

The dry ironing function does not require steam. When used, the sole plate reaches temperatures up to 155 °C. Do not use this function on materials sensitive to high heat.

Auto-off Function

The appliance automatically switches off if not used for more than 8 minutes. The LED will flash red, and heating will stop. Pressing the trigger will restart the heating process.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always unplug the device before cleaning. Allow the sole plate to cool for at least 30 minutes after use. Empty the water tank after each use. Clean the main unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or wire brushes on the sole plate. Never submerge the appliance in water.
