  1. Ensure the engine and exhaust system are completely cool before starting work to prevent burns or damage to heat-sensitive components.
  2. Remove the original silencer.
  3. Verify that mating surfaces are clean. Slide the LeoVince link pipe onto the original header. Important: Remove the original graphite bushing before assembling the LeoVince link pipe. If a new graphite bushing is supplied, use it to replace the original. Partially tighten the securing strap to allow for adjustments.
  4. Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe. Check the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet. Connect the parts using the provided springs.
  5. Fit the clamps to the silencer. Mount spacers, washers, and support brackets as shown in the technical drawing, then secure everything by tightening the nuts and bolts.
  6. Tighten the clamps connecting the link pipe to the original exhaust headers.
  7. Start the engine, wait a few minutes for it to reach operating temperature, and check for any gas leaks.

Important notes

  • During the first few kilometers, the exhaust system will settle, and slight gas leakage may occur.
  • After approximately 100 km, check and tighten all fasteners.
  • It is normal for some white smoke to appear during the first use, even after the engine is turned off.
  • The silencer has been tuned on an electronic dynamometer using a vehicle in standard trim.

Maintenance

Periodically check all brackets and fasteners, as they may be affected by use. Inspect sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber parts, and replace them if necessary. For cleaning, use gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; do not use any solvents. Discoloration of the silencer is normal due to heat and material properties.

Safety and Prohibitions

Any modification or tampering with the exhaust silencer is strictly forbidden. Belgrove Sp. z o.o. declines all responsibility for defects or malfunctions resulting from modified products.
