Quick Guide

The Mayfair Seaside Twin Path Spike Spot is a 12V Extra Low Voltage (ELV) outdoor lighting fixture. It is designed for DIY installation and does not require a licensed electrician for the 12V side, provided you do not work with 240V mains directly. Please note that the required Lucci wiring kit and transformer are sold separately.

• Compatibility: Must be used with LED lamps only.
• Protection: IP65 rated (protected against low-pressure water jets).
• Important: Do not use with dimmer switches.

Installation Requirements

Before beginning the installation, ensure you have all necessary components and that the power is switched off.

• Wiring: Adhere to local and national wiring rules (e.g., AS/NZS 3000).
• Components: Requires Lucci wiring kit (SKU 220826, 220827) and Lucci transformer (SKU 220818, 220819, 220829), sold separately.
• Location: Select a location where water can easily drain away. The wiring kit is not designed for immersion or underground installation without protection.
• Mounting: The mounting point must support twice the weight of the luminaire.
• Inspection: Check for transport damage and ensure no parts are missing before assembly.

Installation Directions

1. Ensure power to the circuit is switched OFF.
2. Remove all packaging material.
3. Remove the shades (D) from the spot heads (A). Use the provided suction cup (C) to install the globes (B - not included) into the lamp holders. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
4. Reinstall the shades (D) onto the spot heads (A).
5. Connect the luminaire to the Lucci wiring kit using the quick connector (F). Ensure the connector is fully tightened.
6. Connect the wiring kit to the Lucci transformer.
7. Insert the transformer plug into a mains power socket.
8. Loosen the thread locker (E) to adjust the height of the luminaire, then tighten to lock.
9. Adjust the spot heads (A) to the desired angle. Note: Do not adjust the spot head more than 90 degrees to avoid damaging the joint or internal wiring.
10. Switch on the power to test the lighting.

Safety Tips

• Always ensure the power is OFF and the luminaire has cooled down before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
• The external flexible cable cannot be replaced; if damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.
• Do not use the luminaire if the protective shield is cracked.
• Clean only with a damp cloth. Do not soak or immerse in water.
• Keep away from corrosive chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
