The QTX GOBO Hex is a 6-in-1 lighting effect fixture. Before use, ensure the unit is in good condition. This device contains a Class 3B laser, which requires trained operation and adherence to safety guidelines. Do not open the cover as it contains high voltage; the unit is not user-serviceable.
Product Overview
The unit combines several effects: GOBOs, a 10W RGBW magic ball, 4x White Strobe/UV LEDs, 4x 4W RGBW PARs, and a dual-colour laser. It can be controlled via integrated automatic programs, sound-to-light mode, DMX, or the included IR remote control.

Installation and Safety
Placement: Use the included mounting bracket to fix the unit to a stand or lighting truss. If mounting overhead, always use secondary safety fixings. Ensure there is adequate airflow around the fixture housings and keep the unit away from damp or dusty environments.
Laser Safety: Avoid pointing the laser directly at eyes. The product is a Class 3B laser and should be installed and used by persons trained in the management of laser radiation.
Operation
Manual Control: Press the MENU button to enter the settings menu. Use UP and DOWN to navigate functions and ENTER to confirm. Settings include DMX address (Addr), Auto run programs (Auto), Sound-to-light programs (Soun), and individual effect adjustments for the Magic ball (bALL), GOBO pattern (EyE), Laser (LASE), PAR lights (Par), UV LED (bLb), and White LED (Stro).

Remote Control: The remote allows for quick access to sound sensitivity, auto modes, DMX mode, and individual effect toggles (PAR, Magic ball, Bee Eye, Laser, UV LED).
DMX Control
To use DMX, connect the signal source to the DMX input via a balanced XLR lead. Select A001 from the menu and confirm the start address. The 'A' on the LED display will flash when a DMX signal is received. The unit uses 16 channels to control individual effects, including strobe, motor rotation, colour selection, and dimming.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Use a soft cloth with a neutral detergent to clean the casing. Use a vacuum cleaner to clear ventilation grilles of any dust or debris build-ups. Do not use strong solvents for cleaning.
Troubleshooting
If the unit fails to power on, check the mains voltage, outlet, IEC lead, and fuse. If there is no laser output, ensure the laser key on the rear panel is turned on. For DMX issues, verify the DMX address, connection, and ensure the controller is not set to blackout. If the unit overheats, ensure adequate ventilation.
