Quick guide from the manual

The Roborock Saros 10R is a robotic vacuum cleaner with an automated docking station. Before first use, clear the floor of cords, sharp objects, and unstable items. Ensure the dock is placed on a hard, flat surface against a wall with adequate clearance (0.75m height, 0.4m width, 1.2m depth). The robot requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection for app features.

Product Overview

The robot features a power/clean button, dock button, and various sensors including cliff, wall, and carpet sensors. The docking station handles automatic emptying, mop washing, and water refilling. The status indicator light on the dock provides feedback: breathing indicates emptying/washing, red indicates an error, and off indicates powered off or charging.

Installation

Assembly: Attach the dock base by pressing both sides until you hear a click. Connect the power cord to the back of the dock, routing it through the left or right slot. Align and install the mop axles into the robot until they click.

Positioning: Place the dock on a hard, flat floor against a wall. Ensure there is at least 0.75m of clearance above, 0.4m to the sides, and 1.2m in front. Keep the dock away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Connecting to the App

Download the Roborock app from the App Store or Google Play. To reset WiFi, press and hold the power and dock buttons simultaneously until you hear "Resetting WiFi". Once the power indicator flashes blue slowly, follow the in-app instructions to add the device.

Instructions for Use

Filling Water: Lift the clean water tank, open the lid, fill with tap water, close, and lock the latch before returning it to the dock.

Adding Cleaning Solution: Remove the dust container cover, pull out the cleaning solution cartridge, open the lid, add solution, and reinsert until it clicks. Ensure the dust container cover is securely sealed.

Cleaning: Press the power button to start cleaning. The robot will plan its route, cleaning edges first and then filling the room in a zigzag pattern.

Routine Maintenance

Main Brushes: Clean every 2 weeks and replace every 6-12 months. Remove the cover, lift out brushes, remove bearings, and clear entangled hair or dirt.

Washable Filter: Clean every 2 weeks and replace every 6-12 months. Rinse repeatedly and allow to dry for at least 24 hours.

Sensors: Wipe all sensors (navigation, wall, cliff, carpet) with a soft, dry cloth as needed.

Troubleshooting

If the robot fails to power on, check the battery level and temperature. If it fails to charge, check power connections and clean charging contacts. For WiFi issues, reset the connection and ensure a 2.4 GHz network is used. If the robot exhibits abnormal behavior, perform a system reset by removing the magnetic top cover and pressing the Reset button.
