The Sanela SLS 02B is an automatic shower control with a mixer, designed for wall mounting. It operates on 6V batteries and features an infrared sensor for touchless operation. Key features include adjustable sensor distance, automatic shut-off, and a hygienic flush function. Before installation, it is essential to read the attached safety instructions.
Installation
The product must be mounted on a vertical, smooth, and non-porous wall. To ensure the IP 53 protection rating, the stainless steel cover must be sealed with silicone sealant around the perimeter during installation. Ensure the water supply pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa and that the sieve is clean (mesh size ≤ 90 µm).
Operation
The system operates via an infrared sensor. Standard operation involves a start/stop function. The system includes a safety shut-off feature to prevent continuous water flow. The hygienic flush interval and duration can be adjusted to prevent bacterial growth.
Settings and Adjustments
The sensor settings can be adjusted using the remote control (SLD 03):
- Sensor distance: Adjustable between 0.3 and 0.7 meters.
- Activation delay: Adjustable between 0 and 15 seconds.
- Safety shut-off: Adjustable between 10 and 310 seconds.
- Hygienic flush: Interval can be set to OFF, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72, or 168 hours. Duration is adjustable from 5 to 1200 seconds.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is recommended. Monitor the battery status; if the indicator flashes, replace the batteries. Common problems
Sensor not detecting or erratic operation
Check the sensor distance setting (0.3 - 0.7 m) and ensure there are no obstructions in front of the sensor.
Battery status indicator flashing
The battery capacity is low. Replace the batteries immediately with 4x AA alkaline 1.5V batteries.
Water leaking behind the cover
Ensure the stainless steel cover was properly sealed with silicone sealant during installation to maintain IP 53 protection.

- Read the attached safety instructions thoroughly.
- Verify the wall surface is vertical, smooth, and non-porous.
- Check that water pressure is within the 0.1 - 0.6 MPa range.
- Ensure the sieve is clean (≤ 90 µm).
