The Sanela SLUN 04EB is a stainless steel wall-hung sink with integrated electronics. Key operational aspects include:
- Automatic Operation: The sensor automatically stops water flow after 5 minutes of continuous use.
- Safety Shut-off: Includes a time safety shut-off feature (adjustable 10-310s).
- Maintenance: Requires regular battery checks and aerator cleaning.
- Settings: Advanced parameters (flush interval, duration, on/off) are adjustable using the optional SLD 03 remote control.
Installation
Before installation, ensure the water supply is prepared according to the technical drawing. The sink requires a water inlet (G 1/2") and a waste pipe (Ø 40 mm). The top edge of the sink should be 850 mm above the ground.

Mounting Steps
- Mark and drill holes for wall mounting (Ø 8 mm).
- Install wall anchors and mounting hardware.
- Connect the water supply (hot and cold) and the waste pipe.
- Flush the water lines before final connection to ensure no debris enters the system.
- Install the electronic sensor unit and connect the power supply (battery).
- Secure the sink to the wall and verify all connections for leaks.
Operation and Settings
The sink operates via an integrated sensor. The factory settings are optimized for standard use, but can be modified using the SLD 03 remote control:
- Flush Duration: Adjustable from 5 to 1200 seconds.
- Hygienic Flush Interval: Adjustable (OFF, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72, 168 hours).
- Sensor Range: Automatic calibration.
Maintenance

Battery Replacement
The system is powered by 4x AA alkaline batteries. Monitor the battery status via the sensor indicator light:
- Normal Operation: System functions correctly.
- Battery Low: If the indicator light signals low capacity, replace batteries immediately to ensure continued operation.
Aerator Cleaning
If water flow decreases, clean or replace the aerator:
- Unscrew the aerator from the spout.
- Clean the mesh or replace the aerator insert.
- Reinstall and tighten securely.
Technical Specifications
- Power Supply: 6 V (4x AA alkaline batteries).
- Water Pressure: 0.1 - 0.6 MPa.
- Sieve Dimension: ≤ 90 µm.
- Recommended Accessories: SLD 03 remote control, SLA 56A/B economical aerators.

Practical help
Common problems
Check if the batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. Ensure the sensor area is clean and unobstructed.
The aerator may be clogged. Unscrew it, clean the mesh, and reinstall.
Replace all 4 AA alkaline batteries immediately to prevent system shutdown.
Before use
- Verify water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Ensure 4x AA alkaline batteries are available.
- Check that the wall structure is suitable for mounting.
- Flush water supply lines to remove debris before connecting.
- Ensure the sieve dimension is ≤ 90 µm.
Specs in practice
- Pressure 0.1 - 0.6 MPa
- The required water pressure range for proper valve operation.
- Sieve dimension ≤ 90 µm
- Maximum particle size allowed in the water supply to prevent clogging the electronics.
