The Sanela SLS 01AK is an automatic shower control system with an infrared sensor. Crucial: The unit must be kept under constant 24V DC voltage. Do not connect the power supply unit behind a light switch or motion sensor, as this will disrupt proper function. The installation requires a vertical, smooth, and non-porous wall to maintain the IP 53 protection rating. The stainless steel cover must be sealed with silicone sealant during installation.
Installation
Before starting, ensure you have read the attached safety instructions. The installation process involves mounting the box, connecting the power, and sealing the unit.

- Ensure the wall surface is vertical, smooth, and non-porous.
- Install the mounting box according to the provided dimensions (140mm x 170mm).
- The stainless steel cover must be sealed with silicone sealant around the perimeter to ensure IP 53 protection.
- The water supply should be filtered (sieve dimension ≤ 90 µm) with a pressure between 0.1 - 0.6 MPa.
Wiring
The unit operates on 24V DC. Connect the power supply as follows:

- Brown wire: Positive (+)
- White wire: Negative (-)
Ensure the connection is secure and the power supply is constant. Do not connect the transformer after a switch in a lighting circuit.
Operation and Settings
The shower control uses an infrared sensor for automatic activation. Parameters can be adjusted using the SLD 03 remote control.

- Sensor Range: Adjustable between 0.3 - 0.7 m.
- Flush Time: Adjustable between 0.25 - 7.75 s (Factory setting: 3 s).
- Shower Activation Delay: Adjustable between 0 - 15 s (Factory setting: 2 s).
- Time Safety Shut-off: Adjustable between 10 - 310 s (Factory setting: 300 s).
- Hygienic Flush: Can be set to intervals (OFF / 6 / 8 / 12 / 24 / 48 / 72 / 168 h) and duration (5 - 1200 s).
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is recommended to ensure long-term functionality. Refer to the maintenance instructions available at www.sanela.eu/service-download. After unpacking, dispose of packaging materials in accordance with local regulations.

Practical help
Common problems
Ensure the unit is connected to a constant 24V DC power supply and not connected behind a light switch.
Verify that the stainless steel cover was sealed with silicone sealant during installation as required for IP 53 protection.
Use the SLD 03 universal remote control to adjust sensor range, flush time, and other parameters.
Before use
- Verify 24V DC power supply is available and constant.
- Ensure the wall surface is vertical, smooth, and non-porous.
- Prepare silicone sealant for the final cover installation.
- Check that the water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Ensure water supply has a sieve/filter with mesh size ≤ 90 µm.
Images and diagrams
- Wiring diagram (Step 11) shows brown wire as positive (+) and white wire as negative (-).
- Installation steps 1-13 illustrate the mounting box placement, wiring, and sealing process.
- Step 17 demonstrates the mandatory application of silicone sealant around the cover.
Model compatibility
- Compatible with SLD 03 remote control for parameter settings.
- Requires external 24V DC power supply (e.g., SLZ series).
