The Sanela SLS 02B is an automatic shower control system powered by 6V batteries. Key installation requirements include mounting on a vertical, smooth, and non-porous wall and ensuring the stainless steel cover is sealed with silicone to maintain IP 53 protection. Advanced settings, such as hygiene flush intervals and sensor distance, can be adjusted using the optional SLD 03 remote control.
Installation
Installation must be performed by qualified personnel. Follow these steps:

- Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is flat and non-porous.
- Plumbing: Connect the hot and cold water supplies to the designated inlets. Ensure the water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Mounting: Secure the control unit to the wall. Refer to the dimension diagrams for precise spacing.
- Sealing: It is mandatory to seal the stainless steel cover with silicone sealant during installation to ensure IP 53 protection.
- Battery Installation: Insert the 1.5V AA batteries into the battery pack and connect it to the control unit.
Settings and Operation
The system operates automatically via infrared sensors. Default factory settings are configured for standard use, but can be modified:
- Sensor Range: Adjustable between 0.3 and 0.7 meters.
- Shower Activation Delay: Factory setting is 2 seconds (adjustable 0-15s).
- Time Safety Shut-off: Factory setting is 300 seconds (adjustable 10-310s).
- Hygiene Flush: Can be configured for specific intervals (OFF/6/8/12/24/48/72/168 hours) and durations (5-1200 seconds).
Note: Advanced configuration requires the SLD 03 universal remote control.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures longevity:

- Battery Check: Monitor the battery status. If the indicator shows 0% capacity, replace the batteries immediately.
- Cleaning: Keep the sensor area clean to ensure accurate detection.
Compliance and Support
The product complies with IP 53 standards only when installed according to the instructions, specifically regarding the silicone seal. For technical support, service interventions, or fault resolution, contact your installation company or visit www.sanela.eu/service.
