The Sanela SLZA 02LM and SLZA 02LN are coin and token-operated shower timers designed to control four to eight showers. Crucial Warning: For proper function, the unit must be kept under constant voltage. Do not connect the power supply unit behind a switch in the light circuit, as this will disrupt operation.
Installation
Before installation, ensure you have read the attached safety instructions. The installation process involves the following steps:
- Prepare the wall surface according to the dimensions provided (165 mm x 300 mm).
- Drill holes (8 mm diameter) as indicated in the mounting template.
- Secure the unit to the wall using the provided mounting hardware.
- Connect the power supply and control wiring according to the circuit diagram.
- Ensure the unit is properly grounded and the power supply is stable at 24V DC.
Wiring and Connections
The unit requires a 24V DC power supply. Refer to the circuit diagram on page 3 for specific terminal connections. The terminal block includes connections for 24V power (+ and -) and the 485 bus communication line (A and B). Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the system.
Maintenance and Keys
The unit is secured with a key lock. Important: In case of lost or damaged keys, identical keys cannot be ordered. Keep the keys in a safe place. Regular maintenance is recommended according to the manufacturer's guidelines available at www.sanela.eu/service-download.
Accessories
The system requires specific accessories for operation, including valves and shower panels. Recommended accessories include:
- Power Supplies: SLZ 01Y (max 5 showers), SLZ 01Z (max 9 showers), and DIN rail versions (SLZ 04Y, 04Z, 04X).
- Control: SLD 05 remote control for parameter adjustment.
- Shower Heads: SLA 03, SLA 39, and SLA 40 (vandal-proof).
- Tokens: SLZA 50 (set of 50 tokens).
