The SCS Sentinel PSWM is a switching power supply designed to provide a 12V DC output. It is intended for indoor use and must be mounted on a DIN-rail. The device is protected against overloads; if the consumption exceeds 1A, the device will stop and restart automatically after a few minutes.
Installation
The power supply must be installed by qualified personnel who understand the relevant regulations. Ensure the installation is performed in a workmanlike manner.
- The device must be installed indoors in a self-extinguishing box.
- Mount the unit on a DIN-rail.
- Ensure the installation location is free from humidity, dust, chemical products, and extreme temperatures.
- Do not install at an altitude exceeding 2000m.
Wiring and Connection
Before starting, ensure the power is turned off. All connections must be made by qualified personnel.
- Connect the AC mains cables to the input terminals.
- Connect the output cables to the output terminals.
- Ensure all connections are secure and tightened to a torque of 0.25 Nm.
- Verify the polarity of the output cables before connecting to the equipment.
- Ensure the installation is protected by a surge absorber or similar device.

Device stops working
The device has likely exceeded the 1A current limit. It will restart automatically after a few minutes once the load is reduced.
