The Sealey CP20VMC is a mains-powered charger designed specifically for the CP20V series power tool batteries. Before using the charger, ensure the battery is fully charged, as it is shipped in a low-charge state. Always allow the unit to cool for 15 minutes between charging consecutive batteries to prevent overheating.
Safety Instructions
Electrical Safety:

- Inspect power supply leads, plugs, and connections for wear or damage before use.
- Sealey recommends using an RCD (Residual Current Device) with all electrical products.
- This product is fitted with a BS1363/A 13 Amp 3-pin plug. If the plug or cable is damaged, have it replaced by a qualified electrician.
- Do not pull the appliance by the power cable or remove the plug by pulling the cable.
- Class II products are wired with live (brown) and neutral (blue) wires only. Do not connect either wire to the earth terminal.
Battery Charger Safety:

Operation
Charging Procedure:
- Ensure the battery is removed from the equipment by depressing the spring-loaded button and sliding the pack out. Do not touch the metal terminals.
- Insert the battery fully and firmly into the charging base. It is designed to fit only one way.
- Plug the charger into the mains and switch on the power.
- The red LED on the charger will illuminate to indicate the battery is charging.
- When the green LED illuminates permanently, the battery is fully charged.
- Remove the battery from the charger and switch off/unplug the charger from the mains.
