Important information from the manual

This charger is designed exclusively for the Sealey SV10.8 series lithium-ion battery packs (Model Nos: CP108VBP and CP108VBP4). Batteries are shipped in a low charge state and must be fully charged before first use. Do not attempt to charge consecutive batteries immediately; allow the unit to cool for 15 minutes between charging cycles to prevent overheating.

Safety precautions

Electrical Safety: Always inspect power supply leads, plugs, and connections for wear or damage before use. Do not use damaged cables. It is recommended to use an RCD (Residual Current Device) with all electrical products. Ensure the voltage rating on the appliance matches your power supply.

Charger Safety: The charger is for indoor use only. Do not expose it to damp or wet conditions. Do not disassemble the charger or plug. If the unit has been dropped or damaged, do not operate it and contact an authorized service agent.

Battery Safety: Lithium-ion batteries are dangerous. Do not crush, puncture, short-circuit, or expose to temperatures above 40°C (104°F). Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the battery pack. Dispose of spent batteries according to local authority regulations; do not discard in domestic waste or by burning.

Operation

1. Ensure the battery is removed from the equipment by depressing the spring-loaded button and sliding the pack out. Do not touch the metal battery terminals.
2. Insert the battery fully and firmly into the charging base. The battery is designed to fit one way only.
3. Plug the charger into the mains and switch on the power.
4. The red LED on the charger will illuminate to indicate the battery is charging.
5. When the green LED illuminates permanently, the battery is fully charged.
6. Remove the battery from the charger and switch off the mains power.
