Operation
Battery Usage
To check the battery charge status, press the trigger; all LEDs lit indicates a full charge, while one LED indicates the battery needs charging. To maintain battery efficiency, do not fully discharge the battery, charge it after every use, and charge it every 4 months if the tool is not in use.
Using the Wrench
- Fit an impact-grade socket onto the square drive.
- Align the tongue on the battery pack with the groove in the housing and slide it into place until it clicks.
- Select the direction of rotation using the direction control. Do not change the direction while the trigger is depressed.
- Control the speed by varying finger pressure on the trigger. Initial pressure will switch on the worklight.
- When tightening, be careful not to over-torque small fixings. For critical fixings, always verify the torque with a torque wrench.
Maintenance and Storage
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance. Clean the tool with a soft, damp cloth; do not use solvents or compressed air. The tool is permanently lubricated and requires no special internal maintenance. Store the tool in a child-free, dry location.
Safety
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves, and ear protection. Ensure the work area is free of flammable liquids or gases. Keep the direction switch in the locked position when the tool is not in use to prevent accidental starting. Be aware of the risk of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome and follow health surveillance recommendations if necessary.
