This kit is designed for the removal and installation of suspension bushes and bearings on passenger and commercial vehicles. It utilizes a hydraulic cylinder to apply force. Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer's service instructions to establish the correct procedure for your specific vehicle before using this tool.
Introduction
The VS7034 kit features a powerful 18-tonne hydraulic cylinder. It is compatible with Sealey air hydraulic pump RE109, hydraulic pump RE110, and hydraulic hose RE111. The system uses parallel working tension elements to protect the bush during the process, and the sleeve viewing window ensures correct fitment.

Operation
Bush / Bearing Removal:


- Select the suitable diameter Force Screw and Press Sleeves (one for Anvil, one for Driver).
- Pass the Force Screw through the ram and attach the washer and nut.
- Pass the Force Screw through the bush or bearing, then slide the relevant Press Sleeves up to the face of the bush/bearing.
- Slide the Press Sleeve (Anvil) onto the Force Screw and firmly attach the washer and nut.
- Connect the pump to the ram and operate the pump.
- Hold the ram assembly when it is clear of the bush/bearing housing.
- Operate the ram to push and remove the bearing/bush from the Press Sleeve.
- Release pressure on the ram, then remove the nut and washer.
Bush / Bearing Installation:
- Pass the Force Screw through the ram and attach the washer and nut.
- Pass the Force Screw through the position of the bush or bearing location and slide the replacement bush/bearing onto the Force Screw.
- Slide the Press Sleeve (Driver) onto the Force Screw, slide it up to the face of the bush/bearing, and firmly attach the washer and nut.
- Operate the ram to pull and insert the bearing/bush into the housing.
- Release pressure on the ram, then remove the nut and washer.
Maintenance
- Keep all elements clean of any swarf, grit, or abrasive contaminants.
- Keep components lightly oiled using a lightly oiled cloth.
- Replace all elements in their correct location after each use and prior to storage.
Safety
- Ensure Health and Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to.
- Ensure a vehicle which has been jacked up is adequately supported with axle stands.
- Wear approved eye protection.
- Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging; do not wear jewellery and tie back long hair.
- Keep children and other unauthorised persons away from the working area.
- Ensure there is adequate lighting prior to using the tool.
- Do not use the kit if any parts are missing or damaged.
