The Sealey STS100 is a precision torque screwdriver designed for professional automotive applications. To adjust the torque, pull out the adjusting ring at the rear of the tool, turn it to the desired setting on the scale, and release the ring to lock it in place. Always stop applying force immediately when you hear the click mechanism, which indicates the set torque has been reached.

Safety instructions

• The screwdriver is a precision tool; do not drop or abuse it.
• Ensure the tool is in good condition before use. Do not use if damaged or faulty.
• Maintain correct balance and footing; wear non-slip shoes.
• Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the working area.
• After use, adjust the tool to the lowest torque setting (but not below) and store it in a safe, dry, childproof location.

Operation

Adjusting Torque:

1. Hold the screwdriver in one hand.
2. Use your other hand to pull out the adjusting ring located at the rear of the screwdriver.
3. Turn the ring clockwise to increase the setting or anti-clockwise to decrease it.
4. Align the required torque value with the red line on the scale.
5. Release the adjusting ring and ensure it is fully pushed back into place.

Using the Tool:

When tightening a screw, nut, or bolt, apply force steadily. You will feel and hear the mechanism click once the set torque is reached. Stop applying force immediately to avoid overtightening.

Maintenance and disposal
