Limited Warranty Period
The warranty covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use. The warranty period commences on the date of original purchase from an authorized Segway Dealer.

Limited Warranty Service Process
If you believe your product is defective, immediately stop using it and store it properly. Continued use may cause severe injury or death. Contact Segway at 888-523-5583 or [email protected] for assistance. To initiate a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase, the serial number, and a description of the defect. Upon verification, you will receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. You are responsible for shipping costs and risk of loss during transit to Segway.
Limited Warranty Eligibility
To be eligible for warranty service, the following conditions must be met:
- The service request must be made within the applicable warranty period.
- The product must be purchased from a Segway Dealer.
- You must provide the original purchase receipt.
- The serial number must be legible, untampered, and unmodified.
- All tamper-resistant seals must be intact and unmodified.
Limited Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, negligence, commercial use, improper storage/maintenance, unauthorized modifications, cosmetic damage, use with third-party accessories, or normal wear and tear.
Claims and Dispute Resolution
This agreement includes a binding arbitration clause. Disputes must be submitted to binding arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
