Important information from the manual

This kettle is intended for private household use only. Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. Do not use the kettle for anything other than boiling water. Never immerse the cord, plug, power base, or the kettle itself in water or other liquids. Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the kettle is placed on a stable, dry, and level surface. Do not operate the kettle in damp places, on or near hot cooktops, or in confined spaces.

  • Handle
  • Transparent water gauge
  • ON/OFF switch with indicator light
  • 360 degree Rotational power base with cord storage

Getting Started

Before using the kettle for the first time, unpack the appliance and inspect all parts for damage. Place the kettle on a stable surface. To remove any dust or oils from the manufacturing process, perform the following steps:

  1. Lift the kettle off the power base and remove the lid.
  2. Fill the kettle with cold water.
  3. Replace the lid and press it down firmly.
  4. Place the kettle on the power base, switch it on, and boil the water.
  5. Discard the water.
  6. Repeat this procedure twice before using the kettle for consumption.

Boil-dry protection: The kettle will switch off automatically if it is empty or contains too little water. If this happens, unplug the kettle, let it cool for at least 15 minutes, then refill with cold water.

Operating Instructions

Filling: Grip the lid by the knob and pull it straight up. Fill with cold tap water, ensuring the level is between the minimum (1 L) and maximum (1.7 L) marks. Press the lid down firmly to close.

Switching on: Plug the power base into a wall outlet. Position the kettle on the base. Press the ON/OFF switch down. The indicator light will illuminate. The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled.

Pouring: Wait until the water stops bubbling. Grip the handle and lift the kettle off the base. Do not open the lid while the water is hot.

Stop heating: Push the ON/OFF switch upwards to the OFF position at any time.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning: Switch off, unplug, and let the kettle cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Removing the anti-scale filter
Removing the anti-scale filter

Descaling: If you live in a hard water area, descale the kettle regularly to prevent mineral build-up. You can use a proprietary descaler or a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. If using vinegar, fill the kettle, let it stand overnight (do not boil), empty, and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Cleaning the filter: The anti-scale filter sits behind the spout. Remove the lid, pull the filter away from the spout, and rinse under running water. Use a soft brush if necessary. To refit, insert the three tabs into the openings around the spout hole until it clicks.

Troubleshooting

If the ON/OFF switch does not stay down, wait 15-20 seconds before reuse and ensure the switch is free of obstructions. If the kettle does not switch off automatically, the temperature control may be faulty; do not use the kettle and contact support. Noisy heating is normal as the water reaches boiling point.
