Quick Installation Guide

This document provides instructions for installing the Stoves 100CM chimney cooker hood. Before beginning, ensure you have read the safety information in the separate User Manual. Always wear protective gloves during installation to prevent injury from sharp edges. The minimum safety distance between the hob surface and the bottom of the cooker hood must be at least 65 cm.

Parts and Components

Before starting, verify that all parts are present:

Parts list and hardware identification
Parts list and hardware identification
  • A: Main cooker hood unit
  • B & C: Chimney sections
  • W: Charcoal filters (for recirculation mode)
  • I: Wall anchors (8x)
  • L: Screws (8x)
  • N: Screws (4x)

Installation Requirements

The hood can be installed in two modes: extraction (vented) or recirculation. Ensure you have the correct ducting diameter (120 mm or 150 mm) if using the extraction mode. The wall must be capable of supporting the weight of the unit. Use a spirit level to ensure the hood is mounted perfectly horizontal.

  1. Marking: Determine the center line of the hob and mark the wall for the mounting brackets.
  2. Drilling: Drill the holes according to the template provided on page 7. Insert the wall anchors (I).
  3. Mounting: Secure the mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws (L).
  4. Attaching the Hood: Hang the main hood unit (A) onto the brackets.
  5. Securing: Use the screws (L) to lock the hood in place.
  6. Chimney Assembly: Assemble the chimney sections (B and C) and secure them to the wall brackets using screws (N).

Ducting and Recirculation

For extraction mode, connect the ducting pipe to the top of the hood and secure it with clamps. Ensure the ducting path is as straight as possible to maintain efficiency. For recirculation mode, install the charcoal filters (W) onto the motor housing and ensure the air outlet is clear.

Filter Maintenance

The grease filters should be cleaned regularly. If using the unit in recirculation mode, the charcoal filters (W) must be replaced periodically as they cannot be washed. To access the filters, remove the grease filter panels from the underside of the hood.
