This document provides installation instructions for the Stoves 110CM chimney cooker hood. Before starting, ensure you have read the safety information in the user manual. Always wear protective gloves during installation to avoid injury from sharp edges.
Safety Distances
- Electric Hobs: Minimum 500mm distance from the hob to the hood.
- Gas Hobs: Minimum 650mm distance from the hob to the hood.
Installation Preparation
Ensure you have all necessary components before beginning. The package includes the hood body, chimney sections (N1, N2), mounting brackets (M), and various screws (A, B, L, I). You will need a drill and a screwdriver.
Mounting the Hood
- Mark the position on the wall according to the required safety distances.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs (I).
- Secure the mounting bracket (M) to the wall.
- Attach the hood body to the wall bracket and secure it with screws.
- Level the hood body using the adjustment screws.
Ducting and Recirculation
The hood supports two modes of operation:
- Extraction (Ducting): Connect the ducting pipe (120mm or 150mm diameter) to the outlet. Ensure the pipe is secured with clamps.
- Recirculation: Install the air diverter (O2) and ensure the charcoal filter (W) is fitted.
Chimney Installation
Once the hood is mounted and the ducting is connected, install the telescopic chimney sections (N1 and N2). Secure them to the mounting brackets using the provided screws (A and B).
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required for optimal performance:
- Grease Filter (Z): Regularly remove and clean the grease filter.
- Charcoal Filter (W): If using in recirculation mode, replace the charcoal filter periodically as indicated in the user manual.

Common problems
Hood vibrates or is noisy
Ensure all mounting screws (A, B, L) are fully tightened and the hood is level.
Insufficient extraction
Check if the ducting is blocked or if the charcoal filter (in recirculation mode) is saturated and needs replacement.
Before use
- Verify the wall is strong enough to support the hood weight.
- Check that the distance from the hob is at least 500mm (electric) or 650mm (gas).
- Wear protective gloves during installation.
- Ensure the ducting diameter matches the outlet (120mm or 150mm).
- Confirm all parts (screws, brackets, chimney sections) are present.
