Installation

The sensor is designed for ceiling mounting using a spring-loaded mechanism:

  • Ensure the installation area is clear.
  • Bend the springs on the side of the detector upwards.
  • Push the detector through the prepared hole in the ceiling.
  • Release the springs; they will snap back to hold the device securely in place.
  • Caution: Take care when bending the springs to avoid injury.

Wiring

Wiring must be performed according to the provided connection diagram. The device requires a 12-24VDC constant voltage power supply (CV PSU). Connect the V+ and GND terminals to the power supply. The 0-10V dimming signal is connected to the dimmable driver via the +10V and DIM terminals. Ensure all connections are secure before applying power.

Operation

The device operates within a Bluetooth mesh network. For initial setup and pairing, refer to the Silvair commissioning user manual. The sensor includes a reset function: press and hold the reset button on the controller for over 5 seconds until the indicator flashes to withdraw the device from the network.

The PIR sensor has a detection area diameter of 8 meters when mounted at a height of 2.5 meters. The detection area is divided into two parts: slow movement (person moving less than 0.3m/s) and quick movement (person moving faster than 0.4m/s).
