Quick guide from the manual

The Sunricher INGY to 0-10V Converter with 20A Relay is a wireless signal converter designed for mesh networks. Before installation, ensure the power supply is disconnected. The device requires specific wiring: 12AWG for power lines and 22AWG for dimming/signal lines. To reset the device, press and hold the Reset button for over 5 seconds until the indicator flashes.

Product overview

This device acts as an INGY to 0-10V signal converter utilizing a Wirepas mesh network. It features a built-in 20A relay and supports Sunricher kinetic energy switches as well as EnOcean switches (EWSSB and EWSDB). It is UL listed and IP20 rated for indoor use.

Technical specifications

Input: 100-277VAC, Wirepas (INGY) signal.

Output (0/1-10V): Max 20mA current.

Output (Relay): 100-277VAC switching voltage, Max 20A current.

Relay Ratings:

  • AC General Use: 20A @ 120-277VAC
  • Resistive: 20A @ 120VAC, 20A @ 277VAC
  • Capacitive: 8A @ 120-277VAC
  • Motor: 0.5 HP @ 120VAC, 1 HP @ 240VAC

Environment: Operating temperature 0°C to +40°C, Relative humidity 8% to 80%.

Installation and wiring

The device is designed for installation in a junction box using a 1/2" knockout interface. Wiring must be performed according to the provided diagrams. There are two primary configurations:

  • 0-10V Dimming Without Relay: Connects the AC input and 0-10V output directly to the dimmable driver.
  • 0-10V Dimming With Relay: Utilizes the relay to switch the AC power to the dimmable driver while maintaining the 0-10V signal connection.

Always ensure the correct gauge wire is used: 12AWG for power lines and 22AWG for dimming/signal lines.

Operation and reset

The device features an LED indicator and a Reset key. When the controller is added to the network, the LED indicator flashes slowly. To withdraw the device from the internet/APP, press the Reset key; the LED will flash quickly to indicate success.

Safety warnings

  • DO NOT expose the device to moisture.
  • DO NOT install with power applied to the device.
  • High Voltage: Disconnect power supply before servicing.
  • When connected to 277VAC, the control should be connected to three-phase three-wire unearthed systems.
  • Rated impulse voltage: 4000V.
  • Overcurrent protective device: 25A.

Practical help

Common problems

Device not responding or needs to be removed from network

Press and hold the Reset button for over 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes quickly.

Incorrect wiring gauge

Use 12AWG wire for power lines and 22AWG wire for dimming/signal lines.

Before use

  • Ensure the power supply is disconnected before starting installation.
  • Verify that the input voltage is within the 100-277VAC range.
  • Check that the load type is compatible with the relay ratings (Resistive, Capacitive, or Motor).
  • Ensure the installation environment is within 0°C to +40°C.
  • Confirm the junction box has a 1/2" knockout interface.

Specs in practice

Relay Current (Max 20A)
The maximum current the internal relay can switch for connected loads.
0-10V Output Current (Max 20mA)
The maximum current capacity for the dimming signal control.

Model compatibility

  • Supports Sunricher kinetic energy switches.
  • Supports EnOcean switches EWSSB and EWSDB.
  • Compatible with Wirepas mesh networks.
