Quick Guide

The Sunricher SR-ZG9032A-PIR is a fixture-integrated sensor combining occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting, and 0-10V dimming capabilities. It is designed for use with 0-10V dim-to-off LED drivers. The device operates on the Zigbee 3.0 protocol and allows for autonomous sensor-based control, scheduler control, and integration into Zigbee-compatible lighting platforms.

Installation and Wiring

Warning: Do not install the device with power applied. Do not expose the device to moisture.

The sensor is designed for ceiling recessed installation. Ensure the luminaire hole is a 1/2" trade size knockout (22.2-22.3mm). Connect the device according to the wiring diagram, ensuring the 0-10V dimmable driver is correctly wired to the V+, GND, and DIM+ terminals.

Zigbee Network Pairing

To pair the device with a Zigbee gateway:

  1. Set your Zigbee gateway or hub interface to "Add lighting device" or "Pairing mode".
  2. Short press the "Prog." button 5 times continuously (or reset power 5 times).
  3. The LED indicator and connected light will blink 5 times, indicating the device is in pairing mode.
  4. The device will appear in your gateway's menu once successfully added.

The device supports TouchLink for direct control without a gateway:

  • TouchLink to Wireless Switch: Short press the "Prog." button 4 times (or reset power 4 times) to start TouchLink commissioning. Bring the wireless switch within 10cm of the device.
  • Active Touchlink to Light Device: Short press the "Prog." button twice to start pairing with a light device.
  • Find and Bind: Short press the "Prog." button 3 times to enter Find and Bind mode to link with other Zigbee devices.

Configuration via App

You can modify device attributes using the "Sensor Tools" app via Bluetooth:

  1. Download the "Sensor Tools" app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Enable Bluetooth and Location on your smartphone.
  3. Connect to the device within the app.
  4. Navigate to "All attributes" to modify settings such as "Pairing duration", "Light PWM frequency", or "Motion sensor sensitivity".
  5. Tap "Done" and then "Update" to save changes.

Factory Reset

To reset the device to factory defaults:

  • Manual Reset: Short press the "Prog." button 5 times continuously or reset power 5 times. The connected light will blink 3 times to confirm the reset.
  • Via Zigbee Switch: Use the Touch Reset procedure if the device is already added to a network.

Practical help

Common problems

False alarms (lights turning on unexpectedly)

Ensure the sensor is not facing glass doors, windows, or heat sources like air conditioners, fans, or ovens. Avoid installing near large, constantly moving objects.

Device not pairing with Zigbee network

Ensure the device is in pairing mode (LED blinks 5 times). If it fails, perform a factory reset and try again. Check that the gateway is in pairing mode.

Light not dimming correctly

Verify that the connected LED driver is a 0-10V dim-to-off type. Check wiring connections for V+, GND, and DIM+.

Before use

  • Verify power supply is 12/24V DC.
  • Ensure the LED driver is compatible with 0-10V dimming.
  • Check that the installation location is free from direct sunlight and strong airflow.
  • Ensure the sensor has a clear line of sight to the detection area.
  • Download the 'Sensor Tools' app if advanced configuration is required.
