The Thermaltake G15 Direct Drive Racing Wheel is designed for PC platforms, offering a 15Nm direct drive force feedback system, Hall Effect sensor paddle shifters, and a metal three-pedal set. This manual provides instructions for assembly, connection, and troubleshooting.
Installation Guide
Follow these steps to set up your racing wheel base:

- Mounting: Fix the base to your bracket using the 2-4 screw holes on the bottom of the base.
- USB Connection: Connect the Type-A to C USB cable from your PC to the corresponding port on the rear of the base.
- Pedal Connection: Connect the Type-B to C USB cable from the pedal set to the rear of the base.
- Emergency Stop: Insert the emergency stop button into the designated port on the base.
- Power: Plug in the power cable and short press the power button to turn on the base.
- Software: Visit www.thermaltake.com to download the latest Thermaltake Racing Control Software.
Quick Release Instructions
To attach the steering wheel to the base:

- Align the 10 steel balls on the steering wheel with the 10 grooves on the wheelbase.
- Press the wheel into the wheelbase, ensuring the guide lines align.
- The quick release will automatically snap into place. If it does not lock, rotate the panel on the base to its default position and try again.
- To remove, pull back on the outer black ring with both hands and pull the wheel out.
Pedal Installation Process
To assemble the pedal set:


- Arrange the clutch (L), brake (M), and throttle (R) pedals from left to right on the included footrest.
- Secure the pedals using the provided M4*10mm screws.
- Connect the throttle port on the brake pedal to the throttle pedal using the RJ11 6P4C cable.
- Connect the clutch port on the brake pedal to the clutch pedal using the RJ11 6P4C cable.
- Use the pre-installed 12.5 mm edge protectors if using the pedals directly on the floor.
Troubleshooting and Calibration
If you experience issues with the wheel or pedals:
- Indicator Light: If the light does not turn on, remove and reinstall the wheel, check power connections, and ensure the USB cable is secure.
- Unresponsive/Frozen: Restart your computer.
- Gameplay Issues: Exit the game, unplug and replug the USB cable, then restart the game.
- Calibration Mode: If buttons or paddles behave abnormally:
- Press and hold A + VIEW for 3 seconds to enter calibration mode (indicator lights will flash).
- Move the joystick in all four directions and press each shift paddle twice.
- Press and hold B + VIEW for 1 second to complete calibration.
Safety and Warnings
Observe the following safety precautions:
- Power Safety: Use only the provided power adapter. Do not twist or pull cables. If the product emits unusual sounds, heat, or odors, stop use immediately.
- Force Feedback: Avoid prolonged gaming sessions. Take a 10-15 minute break every hour.
- Ventilation: Do not block ventilation holes on the base. Maintain at least 10 cm of space between the base and any walls.
- Temperature: If the motor exceeds 60°C, power output will be reduced. If it exceeds 70°C, the base will shut down automatically.

Common problems
Remove and reinstall the wheel, check if the base power is connected and turned on, and ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into the PC.
The system may have crashed; please restart your computer.
Exit the game, unplug and replug the USB cable on the base, then re-enter the game.
Enter calibration mode by holding A + VIEW for 3 seconds, perform the movement/press sequence, and finish by holding B + VIEW for 1 second.

- Ensure the base is securely fixed to the bracket.
- Connect the USB cable from the PC to the base.
- Connect the pedal set to the base using the provided cable.
- Install the emergency stop button.
- Download and install the Thermaltake Racing Control Software.
