TOTO Under Counter Lavatory Installation Guide

This document provides installation instructions for TOTO under-counter lavatories. Before beginning, ensure you have all necessary tools and that your countertop meets the minimum thickness requirement of 1 inch (25.4mm). The installation requires an experienced professional to prevent property damage or personal injury.

Before installation

Ensure you are following all local plumbing and building codes. Carefully unpack the fixture and inspect it for damage. If replacing an old sink, turn off the water supply and remove the old unit, inspecting the drain and supply pipes.

• Tools needed: Hammer, setting tool, screwdriver, drill, drill bit, and flexible waterproof sealant.
• Countertop requirement: Minimum thickness of 1 inch (25.4mm) is required for the provided hardware.
• Note: Faucets and drains are not included.

Installation procedure

1. Cut the template along the inside of the cutting line.
2. Place the template on the countertop, ensuring enough clearance for the faucet, trim, and cabinet.
3. Trace the template and mark the center line of the faucet and mounting screw locations.
4. Cut the opening along the traced line.
5. For hard surface countertops (marble/stone), use a separate Hard Surface Mounting Set. Drill anchor holes at marked locations and set anchors using a setting tool and hammer.
6. Position the lavatory squarely under the cutout and mount using the appropriate brackets and screws. Do not overtighten screws.
7. Install the countertop and drill the faucet hole per manufacturer specifications.
8. Install the faucet and drain fitting.
9. Apply a continuous bead of sealant along the perimeter gap between the lavatory rim and the countertop.
10. Wipe away excess sealant and allow it to set according to the manufacturer's instructions.
11. Connect the trap to the drain and complete faucet installation.
12. Run water into the lavatory to check for leaks.

• Use a mild dish detergent with a clean, soft cloth for the lavatory.
• Do not use cleaners, polishing powders, or detergents with gritty or coarse particles.
• Do not use bleach, chemical thinners, or products containing acid or alkaline detergents.
• Do not use metal scrub brushes or steel wool.

Warranty

TOTO warrants its vitreous china products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
