The TradeQuip 1064T is a 30,000kg capacity hydraulic workshop press designed for straightening, bending, pressing, and removing/installing gears, bearings, and bushings. Before use, ensure you have read and understood all safety instructions. Always wear safety glasses, protective footwear, and close-fitting clothing. Do not operate the press if you have not been trained or if the equipment shows signs of damage, such as leaks or cracks.

Assembly
Unpacking: Ensure the product is in perfect condition before assembly. Dispose of packaging materials safely.

- Frame Assembly: Bolt the cross legs to the bottom of the main frames. Bolt the upper crossbeam to the head of the main frames. If your model includes top and bottom plates, tighten nuts finger-tight initially.
- Platform Installation: Insert the press platform support pins through the holes in the main frame. Tip the platform into a diagonal position to introduce it between the mainframe uprights, then carefully lower it to a horizontal position to rest on the support pins.
Operation
Installation: Securely attach the press to a flat, firm, level surface. Before the first use, purge the hydraulic system to remove air: open the release valve, pump the handle several times, and then close the release valve.
Usage:
- Ensure the hydraulic unit is fully closed.
- Position the working table at the desired height using the support pins.
- Place the arbor plate or press tools on the work table and align beneath the ram.
- Place the workpiece on the table, ensuring it is evenly supported.
- Operate the pump slowly until the ram touches the workpiece. Recheck alignment before applying full pressure.
- Do not exceed the indicated stroke or apply off-centre loads.
- After use, release pressure to retract the piston/ram fully to avoid corrosion.
Maintenance

- Routine Checks: Inspect for damage, loose parts, or leaks before every use.
- Lubrication: Lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals.
- Hydraulic System: Use only good quality hydraulic jack oil. Do not use brake fluid. If the system malfunctions, purge the air from the system.
- Storage: Store in a dry location with the ram and piston fully retracted.
Troubleshooting
- Ram will not build pressure: Ensure the release valve is tightly closed. Bleed the hydraulic system to remove trapped air. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician.
- Ram will not hold load: The release valve may not be closed, or the main seal/check valve may be damaged. Contact a qualified technician for repairs.
- Ram will not retract: The reservoir may be overfilled, or the release valve pin may be seized. Lubricate the release valve pin or bleed the system.

Practical help
Common problems
Ensure release valve is tightly closed; bleed the hydraulic system to remove air.
Check if release valve is closed; if it persists, the main seal or check valve may be damaged and requires a technician.
Check if the reservoir is overfilled or if the release valve pin is seized; lubricate the pin or bleed the system.
Check fluid level and fill if low; bleed the system to remove trapped air.
Before use
- Inspect for bent, broken, cracked, or leaking parts.
- Ensure all bolts and nuts are firmly tightened.
- Verify the surface is stable, level, dry, and non-slippery.
- Wear safety glasses, heavy-duty gloves, and protective footwear.
- Ensure the hydraulic unit is fully closed.
- Check that the workpiece is secured and aligned with the ram.
Specs in practice
- Safe Working Capacity
- Maximum load the press can safely handle (30,000kg).
- Working Range
- The vertical distance available for positioning the workpiece (50-1030mm).
- Piston Ram Stroke
