This guide provides the essential steps to install and configure your Ubiquiti Pro XG 10 PoE switch. Ensure you have all components, including the rack ears and screws, before beginning the installation.
Hardware Installation
Follow these steps to mount the switch in a standard rack:
- Attach Rack Ears: Align the rack ears with the sides of the switch chassis.
- Secure Ears: Use the provided screws to fasten the rack ears securely to the switch.
- Mount in Rack: Insert the switch into the rack and secure it using appropriate rack-mount screws.
Power and Network Connection
Once the switch is mounted, proceed with the connections:
- SFP+ Modules: Insert SFP+ modules into the designated ports if required for your network configuration.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the switch and plug it into a grounded power outlet.
- Network Connection: Connect your UniFi Cloud Gateway to the switch using a high-speed cable to establish the network uplink.
Initial Configuration
