Quick Guide: Magnetic Aiming

The magnetic aiming procedure allows for the adjustment of the tilt optic within the fixture without opening the housing. Ensure the fixture is installed and powered on before beginning.

1. Place the tip of the adjusting magnetic wand against the glass lens.
2. Position the wand directly over the triangular indicating mark on the lens.
3. Rotate the wand to the desired aiming position; the internal tilt optic will rotate as long as the wand is held against the lens.
4. Remove the wand once the light is aimed correctly.

Failure to follow these guidelines may void the warranty and result in injury or property damage.

• Compliance: The luminaire must be installed and grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
• Moisture Protection: All conduit entries must be sealed using appropriate sealing material on conduit fittings and closure plugs.
• Environment: The luminaire is wet location listed and suitable for in-grade mounting, including poured concrete and soil applications.
• Wiring: Suitable for through wiring with a maximum of (4) No. 12 AWG conductors (plus ground) rated for 90°C.
• Fire Hazard Warning: Keep the top and interior of the fixture clear of debris. Never install in mulch, wood chips, or other potentially ignitable materials.
• Heat Warning: The lens and housing can become extremely hot depending on the lamp wattage. Avoid locations accessible to small children.

Maintenance

To ensure proper operation and prevent overheating, the lens must be kept clean and free of dirt, dust, leaves, trash, and mineral deposits from water. A regular maintenance schedule is recommended.
