Installation Guide for Vista 1051KM Commercial Linear Floodlight

Important Information

Before beginning the installation of the Vista 1051KM Commercial Linear Floodlight, ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes. This luminaire is UL listed for above-grade installation only. Always use UL-recognized wire connectors for all electrical connections.

Installation

1. Ensure the electrical supply is turned off at the circuit breaker before starting installation or servicing.
2. Thread the SS Knuckle Stem into the Junction Box Lid and tighten fully.
3. Loosen the Knuckle Aiming Screw and rotate the Knuckle Stem to align with the SS Knuckle Stem.
4. Route the luminaire supply conductors into a wet-location rated junction box (provided by others).
5. Attach the conduit supply conductors to the luminaire conductors, observing correct polarity: connect line to black, neutral to white, and ground to green. Use approved wiring methods.
6. Secure the Junction Box Lid onto the Junction Box using the provided screws and tighten.
7. Position the Knuckle Stem over the SS Knuckle Stem and lock it in place using the Knuckle Set Screw(s).
8. Adjust the aim of the fixture and firmly re-tighten the Knuckle Aiming Screw(s).
9. Supply power to the luminaire and check for proper operation.

Maintenance

To ensure proper operation and efficiency, the lens must be kept clean and free of dirt, dust, leaves, trash, and mineral deposits from water. A regular scheduled maintenance program is recommended.

Safety

The luminaire can become hot during operation. Take care when locating the luminaire to avoid contact with flammable materials or accidental touch.
