Installation Guide for Vista 1054KM Commercial Series Linear Floodlight

This document provides installation instructions for the Vista 1054KM Commercial Series Linear Floodlight. The luminaire must be installed and grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes. It is UL listed for above-grade installation only.

Safety Warnings

• Always turn off the electrical supply at the circuit breaker before starting installation or servicing.
• The luminaire can become hot during operation; take care when selecting the installation location.
• Always use UL-recognized wire connectors for all electrical connections.

Installation Steps

1. Ensure the electrical supply is off at the circuit breaker.
2. Thread the SS Knuckle Stem into the Junction Box Lid and tighten fully.
3. Loosen the Knuckle Aiming Screw and rotate the Knuckle Stem to align with the SS Knuckle Stem.
4. Route the luminaire supply conductors into a wet location-rated junction box (provided by others).
5. Attach conduit supply conductors to the luminaire conductors, observing correct polarity: line to black, neutral to white, and ground to green. Use approved wiring methods.
6. Secure the Junction Box Lid onto the Junction Box using the provided screws and tighten.
7. Position the Knuckle Stem over the SS Knuckle Stem and lock it in place using the Knuckle Set Screw(s).
8. Adjust the aim of the fixture and firmly re-tighten the Knuckle Aiming Screw(s).
9. Supply power to the luminaire and check for proper operation.

Maintenance

To ensure proper operation and efficiency, the lens must be kept clean and free of dirt, dust, leaves, trash, and mineral deposits from water. A regular scheduled maintenance program is recommended.
