Quick guide from the manual
This document provides installation instructions for the Vista 1054WM Commercial Series Linear Floodlight. The luminaire is designed for above-grade installation only and must be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes. The unit supports 0-10V dimming and allows for +/- 15 degrees of aiming adjustment from the horizontal position.
Safety Warnings
- Hot Surface: The luminaire can become hot during operation. Use caution when selecting the installation location.
- Electrical Safety: Always ensure the electrical supply is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation or servicing.
- Compliance: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in compliance with NEC and local electrical codes.
- Connections: Use only UL-recognized wire connectors.
Installation: Recessed 4-0 Box
- Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker.
- Identify the two mounting holes on the Wall Mount Plate that will be used.
- Install two 8-32 Mount Screws through the Wall Mount Plate and 4-0 Gasket into the unused holes, securing them with Washers and 8-32 Hex Stand-Offs. Tighten by hand.

- Connect supply conductors to load conductors (see Wiring section).
- Affix the Wall Mount Plate to the 4-0 box using the remaining two 8-32 Mount Screws. Tighten securely.
Installation: Weatherproof Outlet Box
- Ensure power is off at the circuit breaker.
- Route the luminaire load conductors into the Weatherproof Outlet Box.
- Connect supply conductors to load conductors (see Wiring section).
- Affix the Wall Mount Plate to the Weatherproof Outlet Box using four 10-24 Mount Screws. Tighten securely.
Wiring and Connections
Connect the supply conductors to the luminaire load conductors observing the following polarity:
- Supply (+) to Load (Black)
- Supply (-) to Load (White)
- Supply (Ground) to Load (Green)
If using 0-10V dimming:
- Dimming Supply (+) to Dimming Load (Purple)
- Dimming Supply (-) to Dimming Load (Grey)
Aiming and Adjustment
- Once mounted, adjust the aim of the luminaire up to +/- 15 degrees from the horizontal position.
- Firmly re-tighten the Aiming Adjustment Screw to hold the position.
- Lock the desired aiming by firmly tightening the two Set Screws located on both sides of the Wall Mount Plate.
- Restore power and verify proper operation.
