This document provides installation instructions for the Vista 1050WM Linear LED Floodlight. It covers mounting procedures for both recessed 4-0 boxes and weatherproof outlet boxes, as well as wiring and aiming adjustments. Always save these instructions for future reference.
Safety Warnings
- Luminaire must be installed and grounded in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Luminaire is UL listed for above grade installation only.
- Luminaire can become hot during operation; take care when locating the fixture.
- Always use UL recognized wire connectors.
Installation: Recessed 4-0 Box
- Ensure electrical supply is off at the circuit breaker.
- Determine which mounting holes on the Wall Mount Plate will be unused and plug them.
- Install two 8-32 Mount Screws through the Wall Mount Plate and 4-0 Gasket into the unused holes. Affix with two Washers and 8-32 Hex Stand-Offs. Tighten by hand.
- Route luminaire load conductors into the box and connect to supply conductors.
- Affix the Wall Mount Plate to the box using the remaining two 8-32 Mount Screws.
Installation: Weatherproof Outlet Box
- Ensure electrical supply is off at the circuit breaker.
- Route luminaire load conductors into the Weatherproof Outlet Box.
- Connect supply conductors to luminaire load conductors.
- Affix the Wall Mount Plate to the Weatherproof Outlet Box using four 10-24 Mount Screws.
Wiring Instructions
Observe correct polarity when connecting supply conductors to luminaire load conductors:
- Supply (+) to Load (Black)
- Supply (-) to Load (White)
- Supply (Ground) to Load (Green)
If using 0-10V dimming:
- Dimming Supply (+) to Dimming Load (Purple)
- Dimming Supply (-) to Dimming Load (Grey)
Aiming and Adjustment
The luminaire can be adjusted up to +/- 15 degrees from horizontal.
- Adjust the aim of the luminaire to the desired angle.
- Firmly re-tighten the Aiming Adjustment Screw.
- Lock the aiming by tightening the two Set Screws on both sides of the Wall Mount Plate.
Maintenance
To ensure proper operation and efficiency, keep the lens clean and free of dirt, dust, leaves, trash, and mineral deposits from water. A regular scheduled maintenance program is recommended.

Take care when locating luminaires to avoid contact with flammable materials or accidental touch.
Ensure 0-10V dimming wires (Purple for +, Grey for -) are connected correctly to the dimming supply.
