Setup

Plug the AC power cord into a 110V AC outlet. The clock will automatically set itself to the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. To adjust to your local time zone, use the selection switch located on the bottom of the unit. If your region does not observe Daylight Saving Time (DST), you can disable it using the switch on the back of the clock.

Custom Time Setting

If you need to manually adjust the time or if the internal memory battery has expired, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the TIME SET button for 3 seconds until the hour blinks.
  2. Use the - or + buttons to adjust the hour, noting the PM indicator.
  3. Press TIME SET to confirm and proceed to minutes.
  4. Adjust minutes using - or + buttons, then press TIME SET to confirm.
  5. Repeat the process to set the month, date, and year.
  6. Press TIME SET to exit. The clock will automatically return to normal mode after 7 seconds of inactivity.

Alarm Operation

To set the alarm time, press and hold the ALARM SET button for 3 seconds. Adjust the hour and minutes using the - or + buttons, confirming each step with the ALARM SET button. To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM switch to the ON position; an indicator will appear on the display. To use the snooze function, press the SNOOZE button to silence the alarm for 8 minutes.

Maintenance

The backup battery (CR2032 3V Lithium) should be replaced every 5 years, or every 1-2 years if the unit is frequently unplugged. Always keep the unit plugged into power while changing the battery to ensure the internal calendar memory is preserved. Access the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock by loosening the screw on the cover.
