Quick guide from the manual
This document provides setup and operational instructions for the Acurite 00593W Deluxe Wireless Weather Station & Atomic Clock. Key tasks include installing batteries in the correct order (main unit first), synchronizing the radio-controlled clock, and calibrating the barometric pressure for accurate local forecasting.

Install batteries
Always install batteries into the main unit first. Use 2 AA alkaline or lithium batteries. For the wireless sensor, use 2 AAA alkaline or lithium batteries. If replacing sensor batteries, clear the channel on the main unit by holding the CHANNEL button, then press the TX button on the sensor to re-synchronize.
Placement
Place both units at least 10 feet away from electronic devices that may cause interference. The wireless sensor must be within 100 feet (30 meters) of the main unit. While the sensor is weather-resistant, it is not waterproof; placement in a protected area is recommended.
Main unit features
The clock synchronizes automatically with the US Government's atomic clock signal. If you are outside the Pacific Time Zone, hold the minus (-) button for three seconds to select your zone (P, M, C, or E). Barometric pressure should be adjusted to local conditions upon initial setup by holding the PRESSURE button for 3 seconds and using P+/P- buttons.
Multiple wireless sensors
The system supports up to three sensors. Each must be assigned a different channel number using the interior slide switch inside the sensor case. Press the TX button after changing settings to send the signal to the main unit.
Maintenance
The memory for min/max temperature and humidity refreshes automatically every 24 hours. Air pressure records are cleared automatically every 12 hours. Use lithium batteries in extremely cold conditions (below -4°F/-20°C) to ensure proper operation.
