This guide provides the necessary steps to install your AcuRite 02348HD Rain Chain. Before beginning, ensure you have measured the distance from your gutter to the ground to determine the required length. The installation involves removing your existing downspout and assembling the rain chain components.

- 16 Rain Cups
- 16 Cup Links
Installation
- Measure: Determine the length between the existing rain gutter and the ground.
- Remove: Take down the existing downspout.
- Bracket: Insert the gutter bracket into the gutter hole from above. It should hang like an upside-down triangle.
- Link: Insert the cup link through the gutter bracket.
- Attach Cups: Gently squeeze the two ends of the cup link towards each other and insert the ends into the holes on the sides of the rain cup.
- Assemble: Attach additional cups by inserting a cup link through the loop hanging from the bottom of the previously assembled rain cup.
- Repeat: Continue steps 5 and 6 until the chain reaches the desired length.
Stabilization
If you live in an area with strong winds, you can stabilize the rain chain by securing the bottom of the chain into the ground.
Compatibility
If additional length is required beyond the 16 included cups, you may attach a second chain (not included) to the loop of the last cup.

Before use
- Measure the distance between the rain gutter and the ground.
- Remove the existing downspout.
- Verify package contents: 1 gutter bracket, 16 rain cups, and 16 cup links.
