This document provides instructions for setting up and using the AcuRite 02036WB weather station. Key steps include installing batteries in both the display console and outdoor sensor, ensuring the A/B/C wireless channel switches match, and selecting your geographic region for accurate precision forecasting.
Install Batteries
Outdoor Sensor: Remove the battery cover and install 2 fresh AA batteries. Use lithium batteries if temperatures are expected to drop below -4°F (-20°C) to ensure continuous operation.

Display Console: Remove the battery cover and install 3 fresh AA batteries. Ensure the A/B/C switch in the battery compartment matches the setting on the outdoor sensor.
Setup
Intelli-Time Clock & Calendar: The clock and calendar set themselves automatically. Use the 'zone' button in the battery compartment to select your time zone.
Geographic Region: Press the 'geo' button in the battery compartment to select your region for the Precision Forecast feature to function correctly.
Manual Setup: Press the 'SET' button to enter manual mode. Use the arrow buttons to adjust settings including time zone, DST, clock, calendar, units (temperature/pressure), and language.
Placement
Place the display console in a dry area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The outdoor sensor must be placed outdoors within 330 ft (100 m) of the console. Keep both units at least 3 feet away from electronics like TVs or microwaves to prevent wireless interference.
Operation
The station features a Multi-Variable History Chart to track pressure, temperature, and humidity over the last 12 hours. You can view daily high/low records by pressing the arrow buttons on the back of the console. A blue momentary backlight is available by pressing the button on the top edge of the console.
Forecast Calibration
If the forecast is inaccurate, you can calibrate it to be more or less 'wet'. Press and hold the arrow buttons together for 5 seconds to enter calibration mode, adjust using the arrow buttons, and press 'SET' to confirm.
Troubleshooting
If you experience bad wireless sensor reception, ensure units are within range and away from interference. If the display console screen is not working, check batteries or press the reset button. If the forecast is missing data, allow a few hours for the initial learning mode to complete.
