This document provides installation and safety instructions for the Aurora 12V Constant Voltage 16W LED Driver. The primary requirement for operation is that all Constant Voltage LED lamps must be wired in parallel. Ensure the total wattage of connected lamps does not exceed 16W. Always isolate the mains supply before performing any installation or maintenance.
Installation
Installation must be carried out in accordance with the latest edition of the National Wiring Regulations. If you are in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
- AU-LED16IP: This model is IP68 rated, providing protection against dust and indefinite immersion in water (up to 2m depth). It is suitable for exterior use, such as pond or pool lighting.
- Mains Connection: Connect the mains supply to the primary input cable using a suitable IP68 rated cable connector or junction box.
- Wiring Colors: Black/Blue (Neutral), Red/Brown (Live), Green & Yellow (Earth).
Wiring and Connections
The LED driver features dual Live and Neutral terminals, allowing for loop-in loop-out wiring between multiple LED drivers.

- Parallel Wiring: All Constant Voltage LED lamps must be wired in parallel.
- Polarity: Correct polarity must be observed for the lamps to operate. Polarity is clearly indicated on both the LED controller and the LED lamps.
- Connections: Ensure all electrical connections are tight with no loose strands.
Safety and Maintenance
- Heat Sources: Keep the LED driver away from direct sources of heat, such as low-voltage lamps.
- Positioning: Do not install the LED driver directly above the luminaire.
- Maintenance: Always isolate from the mains supply before maintenance.
- Guarantee: The warranty is invalid in cases of improper use, tampering, removal of the Q.C. date label, or installation in an improper environment.
