Quick Guide

This manual provides essential information for the installation and operation of the AXOR Talis S² Variarc kitchen mixer tap. Always wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries. If using a 5-liter water heater, the flow rate must not exceed 5 l/min; regulate this at the isolation valve.

Installation

The fitting must be installed, flushed, and tested according to valid norms. Ensure all connections are secure. Do not use silicone containing acetic acid during installation.

Operation

When the storage tank is being heated, the spout will drip. Use the handle to control water flow and temperature.

Maintenance

• Non-return valves: Must be checked regularly according to DIN EN 1717 and national/regional regulations (at least once a year).
• Spray former: If changing the spray former, use one approved for this type of mixer.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following:

• Insufficient water: Clean or replace the spray former; clean or replace the filter at the isolation valves.
• Mixer stiff: Exchange the cartridge.
• Mixer dripping constantly: Exchange the cartridge.
• Water escaping at swivel spout: Exchange the O-ring.
• Water escaping at threaded base: Check the adapter floor and replace if necessary; exchange the O-ring at the connection hose.
• Water escaping below handle: Exchange the cartridge.
