The Bauer 1959C-B is a dual-power portable fan designed to operate using either a 20V Bauer Lithium battery or a 120V AC power source. Before use, ensure the product is intact and undamaged. Always read the safety warnings before operation.
Safety Information
- General Safety: Keep work area clean and well-lit. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres. Keep children and bystanders away.
- Electrical Safety: Do not modify plugs. Do not expose to rain or wet conditions.

Setup and Power Supply
The fan offers two power options:
- Battery Pack: Insert a fully charged 20V Bauer battery into the back of the fan until it clicks securely into place.
- 120VAC Extension Cord: Remove the battery pack. Connect an extension cord to the 120VAC input on the back of the fan and plug the other end into a grounded 120VAC outlet.
Fan Placement and Mounting
The fan can be positioned in several ways:
- Freestanding: Place on a flat surface.
- Hook: Lift the hook from the slot and hang in the selected location.
- Wall Mount: Install a 2x6 across wall studs. Measure the distance between the four keyholes on the fan, drill holes in the 2x6, and drive screws leaving 1/4" of threads exposed. Place the fan keyholes over the screws and pull down to lock.
- Rail Mount: Use the hanging slots to hang the fan over a rail.
Always rotate the fan head to the desired position after mounting.
Operation
The power switch is located on the fan head:
- LOW: Press the switch to the left.
- HIGH: Press the switch to the right.
- OFF: Set the switch to the middle position.
After use, remove the fan from its mount, unplug or remove the battery, clean, and store indoors.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Inspection: Before each use, check for loose hardware, damaged cords, or battery issues.
- Cleaning: Wipe external surfaces with a clean cloth. Periodically blow dust off the blades using dry compressed air (wear safety goggles).
- Storage: Store in a dry, indoor area out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
