Changing the Tool

Open the keyless chuck (2) by turning it in the direction of rotation 1 until the tool can be inserted. Insert the tool and firmly tighten the keyless chuck (2) by turning it by hand in the direction of rotation 2. This automatically locks the drill chuck.

Setting the Rotational Direction

Use the rotational direction switch (5) to change the direction. Do not attempt to change the direction while the on/off switch (8) is pressed.

Preselecting the Torque

Use the torque presetting ring (3) to select the required torque in 20 stages. For drilling, set the ring to the drilling symbol to deactivate the overload clutch and achieve maximum torque.

Mechanical Gear Selection

Only operate the gear selector (4) when the tool is not in use. Always push the gear selector switch as far as it will go to prevent damage.

KickBack Control

This function provides better control and protection. If the tool suddenly rotates around the drilling axis, it will switch off automatically. The worklight will flash to indicate this. To restart, release and press the on/off switch again.

Adjusting Speed

The speed can be adjusted continuously by varying the pressure on the on/off switch (8). Light pressure results in low speed; increased pressure increases the speed.

Maintenance

Always keep the tool and ventilation slots clean to ensure safe and efficient operation. Remove the battery before any maintenance or cleaning.
